Real-time peer-to-peer transfers are always free, with no size limit. Cloud transfers are free under 1 GB, up to one per day. Past that it is $1 per GB, capped at $3 for a single transfer — a one-time charge, not a subscription.
No. Neither the sender nor the recipient needs to register. You pick your files, we give you a pickup code, and the other person enters it. That is the whole flow.
Real-time streams the file straight from one browser to the other over WebRTC — both of you need the page open at the same time, and the bytes never reach our servers. Cloud encrypts the file in your browser, stores it, and lets the recipient download whenever they like within the retention window.
You choose when you send: 1, 3, 7, 10 or 15 days. Files are deleted as soon as that period ends, or as soon as the download limit you set is reached — whichever comes first.
Yes, in both modes. Real-time transfers are encrypted in transit by the DTLS layer built into WebRTC. Cloud uploads are encrypted with AES-256 inside your browser, before anything leaves your device.
A 4-character code shown after you send. Codes beginning with P are real-time transfers; codes beginning with C are cloud transfers. Entry is not case-sensitive, and we leave out characters that are easy to confuse — 0, O, 1, I and L.
